Nutritive Mind&Body

I'm Kasey, a dietitian that practices balancing the mind and body through nutrition.

Life feels incomplete when food becomes a barrier to happiness. Food is the center of social interaction fueling conversations and gatherings with friends, business, and family.  On the other hand, our body is our world... how we think, how we feel, and how we choose to live. There is a place in between that is unique for everyone that can keep our minds and bodies at peace with a balance of food joy and food for health. 

 

What to expect in your first appointment:​

We will discuss your goals, daily life, medical and nutrition history, and any concerns you have. Then we will discuss what to expect from your appointments, questions, nutrition education, and finally setup an anticipated time frame for reaching your goals. You will take the lead on goal setting, and I will assist you accomplishing those goals.

My professional experience as a Registered Dietitian started in August 2019 and has allowed me to provide nutrition therapy in a variety of settings with a variety of nutrition needs. I have worked in hospitals, outpatient, and residential settings developing expertise in all of the following: disordered eating, diabetes, gut health, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular health, bariatric nutrition, weight management, tube feeding, kidney disease, malnutrition, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, preventative nutrition, and more!

In my free time I enjoy being in nature, mountain biking, yoga, Pilates, calisthenics, gardening, long walks, dancing, cooking, and being with family and friends.
